The best banya in Texas, it doesn’t get better than this. Our every experience in the “Russian Banya” is very pleasant and enjoyable. It has this specific Slavic vibe to it and I absolutely love it because it reminds me of home. The banya itself is pretty big, it can fit many people and it doesn’t get too crowded. And banya temperature gets really hot, especially if you splash water on the rocks - your gym sauna doesn’t even stand near. There is aroma therapy every day and the owner Misha makes it truly unforgettable. The cold plunge is COLD, not for the weak. Decent 45F (6C) water temperature makes you see what you’re made of.
The price is you pay $70 + tip and you can go for the entire week for as much time as you want, in my opinion it’s 100% worth it. If you get a monthly or yearly membership then it’s cheaper. They also have additional massage services, venik, and you can buy a banya hat :)
There is delicious Slavic cuisine restaurant and the food really reminds me of my grandma’s. Make sure you don’t skip dessert :)
As a Ukrainian, it makes me very happy that “Russian Banya” stands with Ukraine and I will gladly bring my friends here and come back again. Thank you!
Absolutely loved getting to try authentic Russian food! They were very courteous and polite. They do warn on the site that the food will take awhile as it is made-to-order but it is well worth the wait. I loved getting to hear the language being spoken around me and the rye bread while you waited was delicious. A nice spiced and hefty flavor paired with butter. The shuba was really good! I enjoyed the salty and juicy herring under the mayoed veggies and the egg on top pairs well with the rest! The soleniya plate was very good as well! All the delicious pickled veggies were so unique to each other in flavor. I was partial to the pickled garlic, carrots, and mushrooms. The beef pelmeni was fresh and delicious as well! The dough wasn't too thick and the meat mixture was beefy and salty and they tasted great with the dill sprinkled on top and a bit of sour cream on top as well. I finished it all off with blinchiki with cottage cheese that also came with honey spots and fruit spots on the plate to sop up with the blini. The cottage cheese filling was warm, gooey, cheesy and sweet! Top it with some of the fruit and sour cream and it is just 🤌🏽. I also got the recommended cake as well. I believe he said it had honey on the inside. It paired really good with the strawberries it was topped with! It was like a honey filled strawberry shortcake. Delicious! I'm definitely swinging by again if I'm back in town on business. I would like to experience the banya as well at some point!
Amazing! Every single thing I ate was very well marinated and seasoned. Super fresh! This was my 1st time eating here and the hospitality was awesome as well. The drinks were perfect. Ice cold beer and Vodka that went down smoothly. We also got a well informed tour of the saunas and the cold plunge room which I HAVE to go back for. This place is a treasure and you will not be disappointed if you check it out! 😍
If you are originally from Ukraine and looking for taste of home that’s the place for it. Truly was amazed at how similar food was from what I remember. I moved to America about 4-5 years ago and haven’t had a meal like this ever since. I enjoyed every minute of it. The service was great. Super neat. Bathroom clean. Most importantly food was amazing. They all mostly speak Russian that was definitely my favorite part. I’ve had 6 different dishes and it was $67 before tax. It was so worth every penny. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. I’ll be back 🤗
I been to this Banya several times. Last time was yesterday and I had a great time, so much so that I got a monthly membership.
I feel very well and healthy, food is great too.
Had a chance to meet the owner in person Misha yesterday as well, and I believe he has a good vision for this venue.
I also had a massage from Azat, and I recommend that you do the same if you visit, he is very good.
My wife and I came all the way from DC to go here, and we plan on going back as soon as we can! That's how good this place is. More than that, the people there are fantastic and super welcoming to newcomers. Make sure to get a massage from Azat while you're there too - he'll make sure to get out all the back cracks you ever want!
Owner is extremely professional, friendly, and you can tell experienced. The entire staff is friendly and attentive. Everything about this place is amazing. The food was great. I have never felt more relaxed and at peace. For your mind, body, any soul-I would recommend this place to anyone!
I took my family late evening on December 28th. The place was little untidy, due to the late hour, I suspect. However, entire personal of the place was very attentive, friendly, and caring. It was a place I felt like family for me, even though, I met all of them first time. They were looking out for us, giving friendly tips, and made sure we felt at most comfortable. I didn't expect that and was pleasantly 😮 The personal help us to take care of our teen kids for they were tired and we needed some more time to get ready. Just unexpected, to say the least!!. Come and see it for yourself. It is a gem that needs to be preserved.!!!
Myself,.y husband and two friends visited this place after a hectic week. It was absolutely amazing. From the start, they explained everything we needed to know. The saunas are out of this world ,they have specific times for the aroma …
Was in from out of town. Go to the Banya in Brooklyn NY n New Jersey every day. Have to say this place was right on par. Their heat is top level. Wood burning oven was wonderful. The cold plunge was 40 an exhilarating. …
